Ursprünglich wollte ich den Satz der "Tod ist die Heilung des Lebens" in die lateinische Sprache übersetzt auf das Etikett schreiben.
Da ich aber so gut wie keine Ahnung von Latein habe, den digitalen Übersetzern nicht traue und nicht so lange warten wollte, bis ich jemanden fragen konnte, der das Latinum gemeistert hat, habe ich den Satz schließlich ins Jiddische übersetzt und in hebräischer Schreibschrift geschrieben. Das kann ich wenigstens! In dieser Version lautet der Satz: "Der toyt is di refue fun lebn!" Das klingt nicht ganz so mysteriös, sieht aber dafür umso mysteriöser aus. Das Bild wurde verkauft bevor ich die Gelegenheit hatte, ein besseres Foto machen zu lassen.

I originally intended to write the statement "Death is the cure of life" in a Latin translation on the bottle tag in the picture. But since I don't have a clue about Latin, don't trust the translation apps and didn't want to wait for someone else to translate it for me, I chose to translate it into Yiddish and write it with Hebrew handwriting letters. At least that's something I can do by myself! In this version the statement reads: "Der toyt is di refue fun lebn!" I think it looks more mysterious that way. The painting was sold before I had a chance to get a better foto taken of it.
